After many weekends where getting out of the house entailed driving to Target or Ikea, we decided to legitimately get out of town and headed to 17 mile scenic drive and Carmel-by-the-Sea. It's really quite lovely to have such views only an hour and a half away! I suppose the Pittsburgh-equivalent would've been Ohiopyle. Life is so different here.
The little town of Carmel had quite the quaint downtown shopping area. We mostly just bought baked goods and ate seafood for dinner. It was really quite lovely.
